Childrens' Store Tours of the Longmont Great Harvest Bakery

Do you know of kids between the ages of 5-8 who would like to see the science and art behind the healthy whole grains they eat? Call us and we'll set up a tour for you.

We love the idea of showing kids our bakery, the stone mill, the gigantic rotating oven, and the bags and bags of wheat berries.

Tours are usually scheduled on a Wednesday and are relatively short -- approximately 20 minutes, but they are hands-on. Since our store is truly a production facility, one adult for every four kids is required. We try to schedule in the late morning so the kids can experience working with dough on our wooden kneading table.

If you would like to inquire about a tour, stop by the store and speak to Matt or give us a call -- and two weeks notice is needed.

We Proudly Support the Longmont Humane Society!

We offer the freshest, tastiest treats in town for your canine companion. Great Harvest dog treats are made with 100% premium whole wheat, without additives or preservatives. Dogs love them!

We are committed to giving back to our community and appreciate all of the work the Longmont Humane Society does to help animals in our city in need; therefore, since we've owned the store we have consistently donated 50% of all dogbone sales to the Longmont Humane Society -- raising more than $3000 -- one whole grain biscuit at a time.

Coming Soon! New Reusable Totes and Recycling Bins at Your Longmont Great Harvest

We will be offering reusable bags in the near future. If you're interested in propogating less plastic and think these bags are cool, let us know and we'll get them in the store sooner. We love the idea of people walking town with their Great Harvest Totes, letting friends and family know that they care about their nutrition and eat whole grains on a regular basis!
